Using Printables

Hello everyone!  It’s Adrienne here and I’m so excited to be sharing my very first post for Scrapbook Circle with you today!  I had so much fun creating with the August Kit, “Let’s Go On An Adventure”.  The mix of products were perfect for documenting some of my family’s favorite summertime adventures!  I also really enjoyed using the printables that coordinated with this month’s kit…

Here’s how I incorporated some of them into my layout…

I layered a couple of the smaller strips and one of the larger designs behind my photos and placed the smaller banners in a vertical line helping to frame my title “Jump”.  The blue banners (under the title) also helped me pull some of the blue from my photos into my color scheme which also help draws the eye down my page.

I also stitched through a few of the banners to give them a little more of a homespun feel.

There are so many different ways you can layer, alter, and add these printables to your pages!  How will you use them on your next layout?

  • I’m new to printables, but have will be going on them soon now that I have a new printer at last! You might be interested in my give-away, a new book called Sweet Paper Crafts by Mollie Greene.
