Challenge #59: What I Did On My Summer Vacation

I remember, on the first day of a new school year, being given the prompt to write about what I did over my summer vacation. Did you ever have that assignment? If not, here’s your opportunity! Our next challenge is to create a layout about what you did over your summer break. The Let’s Go on an Adventure kit is filled with great papers and embellishments for travel. Did you go on an exciting vacation? Or did you spend your days close to home on a “staycation”? Whichever it is, the August kit is sure to help you create a fabulous page. I asked Diana to take on the challenge, and this is the layout she created:

Diana says that she spent quite a bit of time enjoying her neck of the woods. Her “staycation” included a visit to a 3-d movie theater with family from out of town. Seeing a summer blockbuster, especially in a 3-d theater for the first time, is a great memory to capture in a layout! Thanks for the inspiration, Diana!

Ready to play along? Here’s how:

1. Create a layout about what you did over a summer vacation. We would love to see a Scrapbook Circle kit in action, but any materials will do.

2. Post your project to your blog, a gallery, or our Facebook page. Come back to this post and leave a comment with the direct link to your posted project.

3. Enter by September 4th, 9:00 pm Pacific.

One randomly selected player will receive this fabulous American Crafts Thickers prize package:

Good luck and happy scrapping!
