Challenge #56 – Just My Type

One of my favorite papers in the Let’s Chat kit features typewriters. Inspired by this Crate Paper patterned paper, our next challenge is to create a layout with a typewriter feel. Use this particular paper, type out your journaling on a typewriter or use a typewriter font. Or even do as Rebecca did, and scrapbook your typewriter:

Rebecca says that her typewriter is one of her favorite pieces in her creative space. I can see why! For her layout, she used her typewriter for journaling, including the text on the Fancy Pants tag:

Rebecca put the Crate Paper typewriter patterned paper to great use. She also used a mask to mist circles onto her background. The circles reminded her of typewriter keys – great detail!

If you aren’t as lucky as Rebecca to own a manual typewriter, Rebecca suggests picking up this typewriter font online: 1942 Report.

Ready to play along? Here’s how!

1. Create a layout that features typewriters somehow (paper, font, photos, etc.). We would love to see a Scrapbook Circle kit in action, but any materials will do.

2. Post your project to your blog, a gallery, or our Facebook page. Come back to this post and leave a comment with the direct link to your posted project.

3. Enter by July 17th, 9:00 pm Pacific.

One randomly selected player will receive this PandaEightDesigns flair prize package!

Good luck and happy scrapping!
