Let’s Celebrate! Party

Since we have our party kit Let’s Celebrate this month, I couldn’t resist using the kit and put together a little party with our kids and some friends. Prepping for this party was a perfect way to spend one of our first summer afternoons. Want to take a look at our party table?

The centerpiece of the table was the canvas banner that I attached to a vase and a pitcher from my kitchen. All of the banner pieces including the canvas, tutu red ribbon, paper, tape and printable are all from the kit. I was careful to not include other things from my scrapbook room when I put this party together so I could share exactly what you can make with our kit.

The little treat bags in the kit were fun and fast to decorate and they were filled with pretzels and popcorn.

My daughter and her friend were kept busy this afternoon because they baked and decorated the cupcakes. We punched the treat toppers out of the printable. The great thing about the printable is that you won’t run out of any elements because you can print as many as you need.

I made a little banner with some of the papers from the 6 X 6 pad in the kit. I just dabbed a little glue on each of the triangles and attached it to some bakers twine. I then tied the twine to a couple of straws from the kit and then stuck into a couple of cupcakes. I love adding little banners to the cupcake tower because it is an easy way to add some playfulness to the table.

We also made some little fruit pizzas and decorated them with a banner created with straw flags from the printable. Have we mentioned that we love the printable in this kit? So many great elements and you can’t run out.

We also added some Twizzlers to our table and grouped together and wrapped with our placecards.

We tried out a drink recipe similar to this one to create a red, white and blue effect. It looked pretty cool!

Just to make the drinks a little more fun, we dressed up the straws from the kit with the straw flags from the printable.

This really took very little time to put together. I spent a couple of hours one afternoon putting the elements together and then another couple of hours putting the food together. Time well spent!

Hopefully this had inspired you to throw your own backyard bash! We really loved using our Let’s Celebrate! kit to put a fun summer party together.
