Coloring Easter Eggs

I love using a lot of photos to tell a story and one of the best ways to do that is by creating a two-page layout. Every month, I create a two-page layout with the kit and this month, I decided to focus on recent photos from Easter. The colors in this month’s kit are perfect for happy spring photos. I also took a second spin on a previous two-page layout that I previously created which I will share later in this post.

Here are some close-ups of the details…I cut an oval from the cardstock and backed it with patterned paper and then cut a few more “eggs” out of patterned paper to add to the design.

There are a lot of great embellishments this month in the main kit and add-on – chipboard and darling bows!

The Maggie Holmes fabric frames are perfect for highlighting special photos.

And here is the layout I used for my creative muse… You’ll notice I like to group my photos together when I create two-page layouts and then use a larger design element as a focal point.
