Challenge #53: Pattern Mix-Up

Stripes and florals, chevrons and stars, triangles and dots…the My Favorite kit is just bursting with patterns! Our next challenge is to boldly mix those prints! Pair a floral print with a stripe, combine a chevron with polka dot, or team up stars with triangles. Whatever you do, don’t be shy about it! I asked Daniela Dobson to play along, and this is her fabulous layout:

To get in as many patterns as she could, Daniela used a different patterned paper for each word of her title. She drew the letters by hand, then cut them out. In this day of die-cut machines, this hand-cut title is pretty amazing!

Ready to play along? Here’s how:

1. Create a layout that boldly mixes patterns. We would love to see a Scrapbook Circle kit in action, but any materials will do.

2. Post your project to your blog, a gallery, or our Facebook page. Come back to this post and leave a comment with the direct link to your posted project.

3. Deadline to enter is Wednesday, June 5th, 9:00 pm Pacific. That’s right – you have three weeks to complete this challenge!

A $10.00 shop credit will be awarded to a randomly selected player. Good luck and happy scrapping!
