Do you remember a LONG time ago in scrapbooking when pretty much all there was to embellish a page were stickers? And then do you remember the reactionary effect all those stickers had on the collective scrapbooking consciousness when stickers were no longer “cool”? and you weren’t supposed to use them at all? It seems like we’ve finally come round to a happy medium where some really good stickers are available and they are being used in fun, innovative ways. For example, how about finding ways to combine stickers?
I especially love the Bella Blvd alpha sticker sheet that came with September’s Scrapbook Circle Main Kit (Talk of the Town) because it includes FOUR different types of alphas. Combining them for titles makes for a dynamic look. And how about combining them with other stickers from the kit like the Studio Calico Hexagons? The Bella Blvd alphas look like they were made to go right on top, don’t they?
I also popped the Hexagons up on 3 Dimensional adhesive, which is another way to give stickers a new look. Have you found other ways to incorporate multiple stickers from the kit into your projects? I would love to see!
