Remember This Mini

In honor of Valentine’s Day earlier this month, we sat down as a family and made a list of the things we love about each other. It had been a rough week. We all needed to remember to be kinder and more loving toward each other, and this little exercise helped. I made a mini book from our lists using the Remember This kit and the add-on:

I used a mini album by 7 Gypsies that has been in my stash for some time, as well as a few bits of washi tape. Other than that, everything else was from the kit and add-on. Here’s the title page…

Each person had a page with their name on it, which I painted in red watercolor. These pages have the notes from our lists written out. Notice the scribbles? Those are my two year old’s contributions.

The following pages are of photos of that person, with little captions and lots of fun details.

The boys love flipping through the pages and reading what we said about them.

Have you ever made a mini book with a kit? I highly recommend it. All of the elements are right there for you, coordinated and ready to go. Other than waiting for my paint and mists to dry, the process was pretty quick. The feeling of having an album completed is very satisfying, too. You can see more photos of the album on our facebook page. Thank you so much for stopping by!
