Weekend Warm-up: Paper Planes

Are you playing along with challenge #15 – Travel? Inspired by the travel-themed Amy Tangerine papers in the September kit, The Good Life, we would love to see your pages about traveling.  Here’s my take on the challenge:

As a mom to three boys, you would think I would know how to fold paper airplanes. But, I don’t. When I decided I wanted to include paper airplanes on my layout, I had to ask my husband for help :).

Because my layout is about my desire to travel across theUnited States, the map paper that features most of the US made the perfect backdrop.  I accented the top of the paper with strips from other papers in the collection and used mist to bring the blue and fuchsia together.

So whether you have photos of a fabulous vacation, a picture of a place you dream visiting, or if you just want to journal sans photo about your travel plans, let’s see those pages! Be sure to link us up by next Wednesday. You can find all the details for playing along here.  Have a great day!
