Circle Challenge Inspiration

Hello! Have you been working on your entry to our latest challenge? All you have to do is include circles in your design, inspired by this patterned paper in August’s kit, You Are My Sunshine:

I used circles in four ways for this layout:

First, I did some fussy-cutting to remove a few of the round doilies from the inspiration paper.

Second, I mimicked the tea-stained spots of my background paper by stamping circles with Glimmer Mist.  I sprayed a little mist into a small bowl, then dipped the cap of my glue into the mist like I was inking a stamp. I pressed the lid down onto the paper in several places, letting the mist soak in and create circular stains.

Third, I used my hole punch to punch small circles from one of the circles on the inspiration paper. I sprinkled a few here and there, just for a little added whimsy.

Lastly, my photo has a round theme. Circles don’t get much more fun than a ferris wheel, right?

If you’d like to play along with our circle challenge, you still have until Wednesday to submit your entry.  You can find all the details on how to join in here.  Have a wonderful day!
