Quick Color Switch

Hello everyone!

When I was working with the February 2011 Happy Days kit… I have to admit. I ran into a problem! As much as I love them – the Cosmo Cricket Flour Sack alphas were just not the right color for my layout!

See, I really wanted to use some black alphas with it, but I loved the look of the alphas and still wanted to use them. Instead, I took my Black Staz On ink pad and dabbed the top of the letters until they were black. With my black Zig marker, I think touched up some patchy parts of the alphas… and BAM — I had black letters with the funky shape I wanted!

Check out the page I did.. and see how good the letters look in black! To make them even shinier.. why not add some glaze to the top after the ink has dried a little πŸ™‚

I hope you will give this a try – and get more out of the alphas in the kit!
