On this layout I have 7 different stickers (that’s including the adhesive chipboard!)  I don’t that I had a favorite in the kit they all were so fun to work with from the border tape, letter, and the hipster stickers.  I just love how I could mix it up with this silly picture of my boy with 10 pair of glasses on his head!

I love her layering, fun stripes on her background paper and the stitched, loopy arrow near the title. The bling in the center of the flowers is great, too!

Dani kept the photo placement and the layers by using vellum, stickers and diecut shapes. She swap the misting background for gesso and created a frame around the page with my sewing machine instead of the pen.

I am not sure about the clean part, but simple for sure. I guess clean would be if I used a plain white background or something without a pattern. I just loved that I printed two vertical and two horizontal photos, totally by accident. Once I started arranging them this is what came out. The small empty space in the middle was perfect for one of our exclusive flair  buttons. “hello” is cut with my silhouette and I sprayed it with mist to match the colors of the layout. Some stickers, a rub-on and some sequins from my stash and that completes this layout.

I LOVED doing this assignment. I do have a project project life type album, but I am very relaxed about it and I do not take a photo each day. I do not do a spread a week. I do the number of photos I want and the number of pages I feel like accomplishing.

Mostly I use Instagram or camera phone photos and I print them with my Selphy. They tend to be photos that would not necessarily make it into my scrapbook pages.

I have fallen behind, so I decided to jump ahead and do the last week in May and Memorial Day weekend for this week’s Be Real post.

I used Simple Stories Pocket Pages and a mix of the main kit, add on and party kit from June for these pages. I always like the Scrapbook Circle printable, and it is ABSOLUTELY perfect for project life pages. I used it all over the place in mine.

I love the colors in the June kit! I was strumming through my photos and found some of my husband when he was just a little boy. The colors from the 70s and 80s photos are PERFECT for the color scheme in this month’s kit. So, here is my layout:

It almost seems like it was taken over 30 years ago just for this month’s kit! So, pull out those old photos (or use a few of the Instagram filters to give it that look) and scrap away!
