Sophie Crespy

Sophie Crespy

Bonjour!! I am Sophie Crespy, and "oui" I am French!! I live in the French Alps with my husband and our two very lively young children.
When I am not working as a teacher, I spend my time playing with my children, and doing all things that a busy mom has to do! At night, I enjoy having a bit of time on my own, playing with paper and embellies! I take way too many photos, and spend way too much time on the internet admiring the work of other scrapbookers.

I started scrapbooking almost four years ago now after a friend of mine talked to me about it. Once I did my first layout, I was hooked!
Scrapbooking is for me a way of recording our lives and all the things I am thankful for. I also love trying new techniques and finding designs that will emphazise what my photos have to say.
Handwritten journaling is a great part of my layouts, and gives soul to my creations. My style is modern and bright. I love colors and contrasts, layering and detailed work. I love to use white backgrounds, sprayed ink and punches.

I am so proud and excited to be part of Scrapbook Circle team this term!

My blog is bilingual, so you are more than welcome to visit , if you have a chance: http://lescrapdesoph.blogspot.com

Note to Self: Time Flies and the Ink Didn’t Dry

My daughter just turned 8 and when I was looking back at these photos I took during an impromptu photo shoot in the front yard, I made a mental note to myself that the old saying is true – they grow up too fast.  I realize she still has a lot of growing and learning [...]

Elizabeth Carney

Elizabeth Carney

Hey there, I'm Elizabeth. We're a military family who lives in WA. Dayv is the one who serves and I work on the base at Starbucks {love my job!!!} as a foreman. We've got a beautiful blessing Alyssa and two dogs Jake and Kira. My family is SO important to me! Each of them are an inspiration and a blessing to me daily!

I have been scrapping for over 10 years now and started actually at the encouragement from Dayv who doesn't have very many childhood photos. We sat down together and order from a really cheesy catalog supplies to get me started on creating memories for our family. That was over 10 years ago! Who knew that I'd be knee-deep in it after all these years? I love this hobby just like the very day I received that first package!

I am excited to be a part of the Scrapbook Circle design team!

Hi! I'm so excited to be affiliated with Scrapbook Circle! I've been a design
team member since the Scrapbook Circle started in 2006 and take joy in watching it grow.

I actually started scrapbooking before it was called scrapbooking. I have
"albums" using nothing more than printer paper and Crayola markers from my high school days. (15 years ago!) If I can ever get caught up with my current life, I'm going to have to redo all those early albums.

I'm 33 and I have a wonderful husband(Dave) & 3 kids -- Eden (7), Josh (5), and Teya (2). I love to read and to scrapbook (naturally). I'd love whatever comments you have on my layouts. I'm always looking to improve!

Journaling with a twist

Morning fellow scrappers! This layout has a fun way to do your journaling on it. I had cut out the colored chevron pattern to use on another layout from this month’s kit. What I had left, were a few fun strips of light, plain chevron patterns left, so, why waste them? I used them on [...]

Diana Waite

Diana Waite

Hi! My name is Diana Waite I have been married to my best friend for almost 14 1/2 years, and have 3 amazing kids. They are pretty much the subject in all of my pages. I have been scrapbooking since I was 14 years old in some fashion or another. I love paper crafting in all forms and enjoy the creative outlet that it provides. I like to challenge myself often with new techniques, and trying to use up my stash! I also love to take lots of pictures, and enjoy telling the "story" through them. I love it when my kids flip through the pages of our albums and say "I remember that!" When not scrapbooking I enjoy being with my family, riding bikes, playing games, reading, and going to the gym. I am so excited to be with Scrapbook Circle!

Captured Moment, creating a page with a large photo

I’ve ALWAYS admired when people scrap large photos and make it AMAZING.  I’ve been holding on to this picture for a long time trying to get it right–you see I LOVE this picture for many reasons.  The kids running away carefree (notice the lost shoe in the foreground), the fact that this was taken in [...]

Lisa Andrews

Lisa Andrews

Hello, I'm Lisa Andrews, owner of Scrapbook Circle. I have been married to my awesome husband for over 13 years and have 3 children ages 5. 7, and 10. When I'm not busy scrapbooking I enjoy going to the gym, looking around at Target, going to the park with my kids, spending time with friends and baking brownies!

I started scrapbooking over 10 years ago. Like so many, I was inspired to start scrapbooking after the birth of our first daughter. I have always had a interest in photography (ever since getting my Fisher Price camera when I was about 8 years old) and I loved organizing those photos in those bad news magnetic albums.

Scrapbooking is such a wonderful way to celebrate life and I feel blessed to be able to preserve our family memories through this fantastic hobby!

I always describe myself as the female version of Chandler! I am all about laughing, and even on darker days I do my best to "choose joy"! I have been scrapbooking since Mrs. Grossman stickers were IT, but started designing the year after my best friend opened up her scrapbooking store, about 6 years ago!

I am married with 3 kiddos (2 boys and a girl-they are 10, 9 and 8 years old! AHHH!)! We also have 3 dogs and a crazy cat (OH, and we don't want to forget the bird and turtle!) Before scrapbooking (and kids!) I worked in Emergency Veterinary Medicine as a RVT and worked for a marine lab as a trainer! (Dolphins, sea lions and sea otters!)

My weaknesses are Chai Tea Latte's, Jimmy Fallon (Hee!), sushi, chocolate cake, and an occasional Coke (regular please!)

I would describe my style as eclectic! It changes with my moods! But I LOVE to experiment with new techniques and really get artsey-dirty once in awhile!! Sometimes I like to keep it simple, and sometimes I like to layer it up! I am always telling customers and students, there is really no wrong way to scrapbook! And "mistakes" are artistic opportunity! Make it your own!

I am so excited to be a part of the Scrapbook Circle team!!

Rebecca Keppel

Rebecca Keppel

In a former life I was a corporate attorney living in San Francisco. After my daughter was born, my husband and I decided to move our little family to Arizona. We are still adjusting to the extreme heat, but overall we love the family atmosphere here. In 2007 our little guy was born. They are now 5 and 1/2 and almost 4. I have been a stay at home mom for the last 5 and a half years. I started scrapbooking about the same time our daughter was born. What started as a way to create a baby album for my daughter turned into much more.

Although I have been "journaling" and taking tons of pictures my whole life, it wasn't until I saw scrapbooking as whole that everything clicked for me and the obsession began! Besides recording memories and playing with fun product, I love to learn new techniques and learn more about photography. My favorite way to add texture and dimension to my projects is by sewing (either hand or machine) because I love the homemade, unique touch it adds. Besides making layouts, I love cardmaking and making gifts for family and friends. I enjoy blogging projects and photos --come say hi, if you have a chance: http://www.myclutteredcorner.com/

I am so thrilled to be on the Scrapbook Circle Design team and work with Lisa's AMAZING kits.

Stitched Journaling Lines

I do a lot of machine stitching on my layouts, but usually I just put a simple border around the edge. For this layout I decided I wanted to stitch journaling lines. All I did was pencil in some lines, stitch over them and erase the pencil marks. Quick and easy, but it gives a [...]

Melissa Stinson

Melissa Stinson

My name is Melissa Stinson, and I live in Huntsville, Alabama with my husband, Darren, and our small array of cats, dogs, and reptiles. I've been scrapbooking over 13 years- ever since I graduated from high school! This hobby has stuck with me through college (I graduated with a degree in Computer Science), getting married, and the last nine years that I've worked as a software engineer. I think it's safe to say that it's here to stay!!

Aside from scrapbooking, I have tons of hobbies that take up plenty of my time. I'm an avid photographer who'll jump at almost any opportunity to take photos (for example, I know nothing about football, yet I love it when I get a chance to shoot a game from the sidelines). I'm also more than slightly addicted to my Body Pump and TRX classes (I'm something of a grouch if I don't get to go), I love to run, and I recently earned my second degree black belt in Taekwondo. I'm also a HUGE sci-fi geek. Give me a Star Wars novel or a good episode of Doctor Who, and I'm a happy girl!!
