Lifting You — Sheila

Today we are sharing a Lifting You feature. Sheila made this fun layout and shared it with us on the Scrapbook Circle Facebook page.

Sheila

I love that she inked the custom Scrapbook Circle wood veneer stripes red so that they match her perfectly color-coordinated layout. Red and teal go great together and really make this page pop. The mix of subtle hexagons with the triangles really works well here.

Sheila was lifted by Audrey from our creative team.

Audrey liked how Sheila did a die cut background with shapes and then backed a few of them with patterned paper. Audrey did the same technique but with circles instead of triangles.  She also noticed that on the top of Sheila’s photo, she has some sketched doodle lines that show part of a circle, so Audrey stitched a circle to ground the photo.

Audrey also kept the similar colors. After doing the lift, Audrey realized that even the photos in both layouts were a bit similar — even through completely different seasons!

Thanks for the great inspiration, ladies!
