This is my first Take 2 Challenge as a DT member so I went back through layouts I did as a Scrapbook Circle subscriber! This was a page I did in April 2012 with the February Kit-Remember This. It is still one of my favorite kits and was for the Polaroid Picture Challenge.
Obviously, the Polaroid trend is nowhere close to being over since this was over a year ago and the frames are still trending. I love scrapbooking a series of photos from one particular photo shoot. That is what drew me to this page as a Take 2 contender!
My daughter is the first grandchild and is so used to “the paparazzi” it is hard to get a candid shot of her! It is great when we are trying take formal pictures, but I love pictures that capture the emotion of the moment. I was so excited to catch her in the middle of a giggling fit!
The September Kit-Photo Goes Here is obviously filled with lots of camera icons. I pretty much followed my original page layout shifting it a bit off center, so I could use the big letter stickers from Fancy Pants for my title. I layered the frame die-cuts from Elle’s Studio and Basic Grey (part of the Add-On kit) over my photos for an extra pop! I also used some of the die-cut Ephemera from Fancy Pants and one of the exclusive Scrapbook Circle stickers for the cluster under the photos.
One of the best inspirations for me is looking through older page designs & previous layouts. You don’t always have to re-invent the wheel…or scrapbook sketch!
I challenge you to pick one of your layouts and do your own Take 2 Challenge! We would love to see your page on the Scrapbook Circle Facebook page. The September kit is a wonderful collection of new products to transition from Summer into Fall. Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Labor Day to you and your family!
