Be Real
We are doing a new segment here called “Be Real”. I am using my Instagram photos to record my day to day moments. This is how I start my Monday mornings, with a calendar and a huge cup of coffee. This particular week was really busy because I was planning a birthday party for my son.
For this layout I used everything from the February kit – Story Time, except the arrow tape which came in the January kit. I print most of my Instagram photos at home. These are little shy from 2 1/4″ and they fit perfectly in the Heidi Swapp Mini Instaframes. They both have a white border around them and that is how I like to trim my photos. I closed the Instaframe with my stapler.

I used Glitz Color Me Happy Woodgrain as my background which made all the light colors stand out. ”hello today” is cut with my Silhouette Cameo and it’s a Silhouette file. The “today” arrow is created by me in Silhouette Studio. I punched the stars from patterned paper using Epiphany Crafts star punch. I used Glitz Giant Chevron Roller and white ink to stamp on the page. I added arrow tape over the top.

I hope you play along. You can use your Instagram photos for a layout or incorporate them in your Project Life section. Use the Scrapbook Circle kit and tell us what makes it a real moment or snapshot of the day to day. If you don’t use Instagram, that is OK, you can use any photos that you have.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Make sure you share your projects on our Facebook page.
Love this layout, I just started printing out my instagram photos and saving this idea.
