CHA Recap
Several of us on the Scrapbook Circle team were lucky enough to get to spend last weekend in Anaheim at CHA. We had such a fantastic time meeting each other (some of us hadn’t met in person before), chatting with other friends in the industry and, of course, choosing items for our next few kits. I’d say it was a very successful weekend!
We started off our weekend at California Advneture the night before CHA started. It was so cold. Even with 5 layers on, I was still freezing. It’s hard for this AZ girl to stay warm when it’s cold out.

Jennie and Tessa testing their skills at Toy Story Mania

We got to check out Cars Land. It was the first time for all of us and we loved it!
We were up are ready to go on Saturday morning. After fueling up with breakfast at the hotel, we headed to the convention center. Our first stop was Elle’s Studio booth in the new vendor’s section. Elle was so nice to meet. We were excited to see that she has now added paper to her collections!
We spent the entire day walking up and down all of the aisles at the convention. We didn’t want to miss anything! We stopped by and talked to Kristen at Lily Bee about her new products. We are loving the colors in the Destinations line.
The new Allison Kreft lines for Websters pages were beautiful. Can’t wait to share some of our favorite pieces in an upcoming kit!
Fancy Pants Designs had some really great new paper lines this show. We also loved their new embellishments.
We meet up with Heidi Swapp at her booth and she gave us a full tour of all her new products. I loved getting to hear Heidi talk about her new stuff. She is so enthusiastic and full of energy.
We stopped by the Project Life booth to say hi to Becky Higgins. So exciting to see that Project Life is doing well for Becky!
We really loved everything in the new Maggie Holmes line. Wow. We had to show restraint to not order everything!
Bella Feathers? Yes or no? We may be giving you a chance to experiment with them in an upcoming kit.
Amy Tan was so kind and friendly. She signed cute tote bags for all of us!
After spending hours on our feet at the show, we were ready to sit down and relax. We went to Buca di Beppo and sat at the one table they have in the kitchen. It was fun to watch all of the food orders leaving the kitchen!
We spent the night back at the hotel deciding on all of our favorite things we had seen during the day. The next day we finalized kits, turned in orders and headed home.
Thanks to Heather Leopard, Diana Waite, Rebeccca Keppel, Jennie Blaser and Tessa Buys for joining me for this fabulous weekend.
Now the waiting game begins! We are so excited to share all of our finds with you over the upcoming months.
