Mixing up chevron
Good morning!
Chevron patterns are everywhere these days. I know honeycomb is coming in and triangles are making a comeback as well… but today, I’m talking about chevrons. There are several papers in the Talk of the Town kit that have a chevron pattern. But, no two of them are the same size, height, or width! Problem? No way! Mix them up! In this layout, I have the small blue and green chevron pattern that I cut out and I also have a large blue polka dot chevron I cut out (based on the woodgrain chevron pattern in the kit). I put them right next to each other. It’s all just background noise, anyway, right? I’m still hoping the focus in on the picture.
Here’s the story on this picture: We were at a family reunion and got pummeled by a hail storm. We all had to gather under a tiny ramada at a park, and there were about 70 of us! The kids were all FREEZING. I stood up on a bench and took this of a few of my kids and cousins. It quickly became one of my favorites of the summer!

just GORGEOUS!
What a fun photo! The colorful page just made it pop! I loved it! The mix of chevron patterns worked beautifully!
