One Item Wonder: Heidi Swapp Trimmings

The Field Notes kit includes map-printed trims by Heidi Swapp called Trimmings. Fringed and scalloped, they are fun accents as is or wound up into flowers, as you’ll see from a trio of our fabulous designers now.

Jennie used the fringed trim on this graduation card for a festive look. Using the scalloped trim, Jennie created a flower for this layout:

Penny also created a flower, but with the fringed trim:

I love how it seems to “explode” from the page!

Rebecca put both the fringed and the scalloped trims together to create yet another fantastic flower:

To create the flower, Rebecca says to start with a circle covered in adhesive. Adhere the fringed trim to the outside edge of the circle, then spiral the scalloped trim in the center. I love the way this one looks!

How have you used the Heidi Swapp Trimmings? We would love to see! Just upload your layouts to our Facebook page and we will come take a look. Have a great day!
