Nothing Special
Hi scrappers!
Today’s post is about … nothing special. Let me explain. Here is the layout I’m going to be talking about:
Nothing special, right? Well, that’s okay. Not every layout has to be drop dead gorgeous. But, there are a few things about this layout that I wanted to point out.
1) When I was splattering the mist, I accidentally rubbed it before it was dry, causing a giant smear right in the middle of the splatters. (Well, I had two smears, but one was HUGE) See it? Well, not really. I covered it up with a misted camera. So, oops! Cover up. You can too!
2) I ran out of the letter N for the title “UNDEFEATED”. So, I used a V and added a little extra line. I’m sure you can see it now that I’ve pointed it out. Sometimes, you just need to make do with what you have.
3) Instead of using a pen and writing on the tag “Please Identify Yourself”, I used the small letters that came in the kit! Something different! Try it!
So, while this layout and this post is about nothing special, it is also my way of saying, “I make mistakes, I make do, and I try something new!”
Sometimes the result is extra special! You just never know!

I actually started scrapbooking before it was called scrapbooking. I have "albums" using nothing more than printer paper and Crayola markers from my high school days. (15 years ago!) If I can ever get caught up with my current life, I'm going to have to redo all those early albums.
I TOTALLY agree with you! It doesn’t have to ALWAYS be special–this is a GREAT documented layout mr. J will love this in the future!

I think that IS a special layout! I totally didn’t notice the “V” as an “N” until you pointed it out and read the title just like you intended…sometimes I really think that the mistakes provide more challenges to be creative and honestly can make the project better! Good work!
