Designer Take: Leah’s Travel Mini Album
Our guest designer this month, Leah Farquharson, had a fabulous idea for a travel mini that could collect memorabilia and be educational:
Leah says, “I put together this mini with two purposes in mind – one being a fun way to flip through and review the states and capitals, and the second being a place to make notes, mark and add memorabilia as we travel to the different states. I’m sure as it expands, I’ll be replacing the binder ring with something much larger!”
Leah used a simple recipe: a rectangle of patterned paper with rounded corners, a circle of patterned paper, and a state die-cut (or in this case, the wood die-cuts from the same line as the cameras in our kit).
To see more photos, check out our Facebook page. Leah will be posting this project soon on her own blog, with a printable list of the states and capitals.
If you would like to play along with the travel mini album challenge, there is still plenty of time! You can find all of the details here. Thanks to Leah for the inspiration! We love your album. Have a great day, everyone!

This is such an awesome album. I need to make one for us as well for our Stayaction adventures.
