Designer Take: Nicole on Challenge #28
How is your entry to our Polaroid challenge coming along? I’ve got a fabulous page to share with you today, as well as a tutorial for creating your own faux Polaroids. First, let’s take a look at Nicole’s challenge-inspired layout:
I’m not much of a city girl myself, but this layout makes me want to try! And the stitching on the Polaroid frames – perfection!
If you don’t have a Polaroid camera, you can easily create your own faux Polaroid frames with a square punch and your paper trimmer.
Punch a square from white cardstock. Be sure to reach as far into the page as your punch allows so that you can leave enough room for your caption space.
Using your trimmer, cut out your square. Leave just a little bit of space around the top and sides, but leave a much larger “caption” space at the bottom.
Easy peasy! If you would like to play along with our challenge, you can find the details here. Have a wonderful day! Tessa
