I think that the new Take Two feature here on the Scrapbook Circle blog might easily become one of my favorites! It’s an opportunity to either get a second chance at a layout design that perhaps didn’t go right the first time or to reuse a design that you absolutely loved the first time around.

Today I’m doing the latter, because I really loved how this layout that I made with last months kit, You + Me, turned out- especially those little banners under the photos. I’ve seen rows of pennants like that everywhere lately, and I don’t think that I’m quite through using them on my own pages yet!

I took the pennants and general design of last month’s layout and used them to put together this new page with the February kit, Remember This. I also changed things up a bit by using a little less embellishment in the top right corder and omitting the vertical stripe down the side (I tried one, but it didn’t look right with all the horizontal woodgrain action going on with the background paper).
