These is a lot of internet talk about stretching your kits, and why not? Many of us on a tighter budget than ever, so if you are going to spend money on something, you want it to be worth it right? Those of you who have visited my blog know that I am constantly talking about how many projects I can create from a single Scrapbook Circle kit. Each month it astounds me, but it is true that I easily create 5+ projects every month. Often I run out of time, but I usually have more kit left to continue creating. Not only that, but I add very LITTLE from my own stash. I am a cardstock user, so I occasionally add a few sheets of cardstock. I am also an alpha addict so I generally like to make layouts with more than the kit included alpha. But that is pretty much it. No need to add embellishments, definitely no need to add more patterned paper (you get tons!) and no need to add in little fun bits because those items are included as well. Let me just show you what I mean. For this month’s You + Me kit I added some alphas and cardstock and was able to create 6 layouts and one card:

So next month, when making your scrappy budget, pat yourself on the back for getting the Scrapbook Circle kit and know you are getting a kit worth every penny!
