Challenge #23: Card Sketch
Are you ready for our first challenge of the new year? We are! With the You + Me kit in mind, we thought a card sketch would be the perfect spark to help you with your Valentine’s Day cards.
I was inspired by the journaling card paper by Fancy Pants while I was designing the sketch. I chose the card with “Happy Love Day” for my sentiment:
I love the combo of kraft, grey, white and red!
I love the texture that the felt strip and kraft papers tucked behind my sentiment give my card. And it’s a Valentine – I couldn’t resist the doily!
Ready to play along? Here’s how:
1. Create a card based on the above sketch. We would love to see a Scrapbook Circle kit in action, but any materials will do.
2. Post your card to your blog, a gallery, or our Facebook page. Come back to this post and leave a comment with the direct link to your posted card.
3. Deadline to enter is Wednesday, January 18th, 9:00 pm Pacific.
