Challenge #17 – Get Wordy
Inspiration for our new challenge comes directly from the October kit, Fresh Picked. Several papers made me want to put pen to paper and get writing! For example, this one from Fancy Pants:
…and this one from Lily Bee:
I combined the two in this layout:
I fussy-cut several of the pencils to create a border…
…and then used the Studio Calico crafting notes as journaling spots:
Your challenge is to focus on writing and get wordy! Whether you do a photo-less page that is all about the journaling, or you tell an important story accompanied by a special photo, make your words shine. I chose to write about writing – lists, that is. I think it will be fun for my kids to one day look back on this quirk of mine. Fill an entire page with words, or do something fancy with your type. Whatever you do, just have fun writing. Ready to play? Here are the details:
1. Create a layout satisfying the challenge. We would love to see a Scrapbook Circle kit in action, but any materials will do.
2. Post your layout to your blog, a gallery, or our Facebook page. Come back to this post and leave a comment with the direct link to your posted page.
3. Deadline to enter is Wednesday, October 19th, 9:00 pm Pacific.
One randomly selected participant will win…
Hallow’s Eve – the Halloween Kit! Good luck and happy scrapping!
