Using it Up & Mixing it Up
I am totally a 12×12 scrapper, but sometimes I like to mix it up. I know the 8.5×11 format isn’t THAT much smaller than a 12×12 but it does seem like you need lots less paper to make them! So when I got towards the end of my May and Anniversary Kits, I made several 8.5×11 layouts:
This one was made with the Anniversary kit (I added the Kraft cardstock and based the layout on one by Jennifer Gallacher).
This one was the remains of my May Kit (I added the cardstock and glitter flower centers). I loved the pennants from the May printable and cut one of the tags included in the kit to match the pennant edge.
Next time you feel like you don’t have enough left in a kit for a 12×12 layout, I hope you’ll consider a new size!
