Nicole layered a corrugated frame on a doily inset with patterned papers, then layered a button, twine, and stick pin over that.  What gorgeous details!

For this card, Nicole altered her corrugated frame with paint and stitching.  Just beautiful!

Hello, and happy Monday everyone! For this week’s Lifting You feature we’re sharing Sara’s page with you. Sara shared her page with us on the Scrapbook Circle Facebook page.

There was so much about Sara’s page that I loved. The placement of the pictures, the title, all those great little extras! She was lifted by Nicole and Heather.

This first page is from Heather. I love how true to the lift she stayed. And the colors in this are lovely. Adorable pics, too. All around fabulousness!!

And here is Nicole’s lift of Sara’s page. Wow, such a great page. Those cutie buttons in the corner of the photos are such a fabulous way to use the Jillibean Soup corrugated alphas from the kit.

Good morning scrappers!

Happy Sunday morning to you all. Have you received your May kit yet? Have you devoured all of its deliciousness? Here is a layout I made of my youngest at the beach on a cloudy day. The soft colors from the May kit were just perfect for the photo.

This was also a great way to use up the leftovers with a bunch of 1 1/2 in squares! I also tried a new misting technique on this layout. I think I need a bit more practice, but that’s okay! Have a wonderful day!

I have always loved using little bits and pieces of papers and embellishments on my pages! In fact, it helps stretch your supplies and adds a whimsical feel to your pages!

With this month’s Grandma’s Attic kit, I used a lot of little bits and pieces to create this page of my daughter:

I used some of the journalling pieces from one of the Crate Paper patterned papers in the kit, cracked out my punches and punched some shapes from the paper, and even cut up some of the Hambly white banner rub-ons, to make mini half-doilies for touches around the edge of the page!  The Crate Paper die cut sticker sheet in the kit is also super to add a little piece here and there – the label and shaped stickers are awesome!

So next time you might be running low with some embellishments, have fun playing with bits and pieces of your patterned papers and layer them with some fun stickers too!
