I had so much fun playing with the May Printable!  I decided to combine elements from the printable with the Pink Paislee Daily Junque – Tickets paper from the Anniversary kit.

I love the look of the ephemera lined up the sides of the patterned paper, but I wanted to add more.  I simply cut a few favorite pieces from the printable and adhered them among the images, some tucked behind and others on dimensional adhesive.

I loved the little pencil image from the printable and just had to add it right next to the word “write” on the patterned paper.

Did you see the cut and fold pennants on the printable?  They are so cute! Using a little twine from my stash, I folded and glued the little pennants to create a banner.  I love the whimsy they add!

I hope you are inspired to use the May printable on your pages this month.  Each printable is like a little treasure trove of unique things to add to your layouts.  So print, cut and enjoy!

So sorry on how late this post is! I really thought today was Sunday—ever have one of those days where you really had no idea when it was all day?! That was me!

I am totally a 12×12 scrapper, but sometimes I like to mix it up. I know the 8.5×11 format isn’t THAT much smaller than a 12×12 but it does seem like you need lots less paper to make them! So when I got towards the end of my May and Anniversary Kits, I made several 8.5×11 layouts:

This one was made with the Anniversary kit (I added the Kraft cardstock and based the layout on one by Jennifer Gallacher).

This one was the remains of my May Kit (I added the cardstock and glitter flower centers). I loved the pennants from the May printable and cut one of the tags included in the kit to match the pennant edge.

Next time you feel like you don’t have enough left in a kit for a 12×12 layout, I hope you’ll consider a new size!
