Keeping it Simple

Sometimes, when I have lots to say on a layout, I like to keep it simple and let the focus stay on the words and photos. The great thing about doing a simple layout with a gorgeous kit like Vintage Market is that even simple comes out looking rich and interesting.

Everything here (besides a bit of twine and some Kraft cardstock) is from the Vintage Market kit.

Layering the fun Studio Calico wood buttons over stickers or punched patterned paper adds a little extra oomph and the various choices of borders and alphas on the Echo Park sticker page help jazz up an otherwise very simplistic page.

The nice thing about a simple page (other than emphasizing your journaling or photo) is that it leaves you with TONS of leftover goodies for more layouts!

  • Rebecca – it goes without saying that your layout is gorgeous but your heartfelt words to your daughter are just as beautiful as she is.
