Shortcuts

We all love shortcuts in scrapbooking, right? Well, one of my favorite techniques is sanding the edges of my photos. I used to do this ALL the time a year or two ago, and now, not as much. However, I still like the look it gives of giving a white-ish edge to my photos and making them stand out from each other. Well, when I was making this layout, I was a little pressed for time. I wanted the white edge look, but didn’t have time to sand the edges, or find a white paper and mat them all. So, I carefully laid them out with about 1/8 inch of a space on all sides. It’s not exactly the same, but it does the job in a fraction of the time! Here is a close up of what I did:
